Automotive storytelling was the original inspiration for me to pick up a camera. Blogs of the 2010's like StanceWorks had a magical way of captivating my soul and really making me feel the magic through a lens. I've always been very inspired by my peers and hope I can make a similar impact on others with my photos and writing.

I realize in the current state of media consumption blogs are near end of the popularity contest. People want quick, fast hitting, ever evolving content. Blogs are a much slower burn that require more effort to consume. I still find the magic in them and wish there were more regularly updated. I'm still very inspired by them and I still find myself searching for archives of the media I once spent hours upon hours consuming.

Suicide Garage was a huge part of my life for the three or four years I kept it going. I loved the story telling, the positivity, and the search for automotive greatness. I purposely looked for cars that were build well out of passion and void of clout chasing or trends. Photography and photos in general just has such a deep meaning for me, I'm not sure what it is. I've seen great videos and regularly watch YouTube, but nothing will give me the same feeling as seeing or capturing an incredible photo. The way a photo can show so much, yet leave so much wonder and yearning for more is truly something magical.

If you've followed my automotive content journey at all you've probably heard me mention StanceWorks. Mike Burroughs, better known as StanceWorks, or the guy behind Rusty Slammington, the K swapped Ferrari 308, and now the full tube chassis F40 build has single handedly shaped how I view automotive content and content creation. He's always had the attitude of if someone else can do it, I can too, and that something that has inspired me in all aspects of life. Not in a better than you sense, but more of an I AM good enough to accomplish what I want sense. His storytelling has captivated me for well over a decade, the way he conveys the exact feel and emotion of any given scenario is something I've also aspired to.

All of this to say, I'm going to start writing again. I want to use this small subsection of my website to chronicle my journey of photography. That may look like my old Suicide Garage site on some days, and a full wedding day walk-through on others. I hope you feel something positive today, and as I always used to say, I'm so glad you're here.
